Canadian Silver Maple Leaf coins debuted in 1988 at the Royal Canadian Mint. The coins have been issued each year since that time and are outsold on an annual basis by only the American Silver Eagle. The coins feature new security elements that were introduced in 2014. These include radial lines in the background field on both sides of the coin, as well as a newer privy mark on the reverse. The maple leaf privy on this field is micro-laser engraved and includes the date mark of the coin with the last two digits only. This 22 inscription within the privy is only visible under magnification.
All 2022 1 oz Canadian Silver Maple Leaf Coins are available here in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. The coins are available to you individually in protective plastic flips. Multiples are available in plastic tubes of 25 or Monster Boxes of 500 coins. The box holds a total of 20 tubes of 25 coins in total. On the obverse of 2022 Canadian Silver Maple Leaf Coins is an image of Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty is the longest-reigning monarch in British history and serves as the sovereign head of Canada. She has appeared on the obverse of Canadian coins throughout her reign, with this portrait serving as the fourth-generation depiction of Elizabeth II. The effigy was created in 2003 by Susanna Blunt.
